Revision Rhinoplasty to Correct a Pollybeak Deformity…
Revision Rhinoplasty was performed on this woman to improve the appearance of her nose. She had two prior rhinoplasty surgeries, which left her with a hump on her nose called a pollybeak deformity. The pollybeak deformity is created when too much cartilage is left on the bridge of the nose and/or the tip droops down too much after surgery. She also had a crooked nose and stitch marks on her collumela.

Revision rhinoplasty was performed to correct all of her nasal concerns. Remaining cartilage from her septum was used to repair the damage to the nose. The nasal dorsum (bridge) was re-balanced and the nasal tip was elevated. Her crooked nose was improved using cartilage grafts that helped with her breathing as well. She is left with a nose that looks and breaths better then before. She is seen in this video 6 months after surgery.
