CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting Boca Raton

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive and non-surgical method to reduce fat bulges on the body without down time. Coolsculpting works through a revolutionary technology that cools your body’s fat cells to a certain temperature creating a process called cryolipolysis. This results in a permanent reduction in those fat cells and even better, a noticeable reduction in the appearance of those hard to get rid of bulges.

CoolSculpting is especially helpful for stubborn fat bulges that are difficulty to reduce with normal diet and exercise. This non-invasive procedure is especially helpful in the region of the abdomen and back. This includes the side fat bulges (love handles), the lower belly fat roll, upper belly fat, muffin top, under bra fat, and back fat. Coolsculpting is performed in the comfort of our office and can taken anywhere from one hour or more depending on how many areas are being treated.

Goal

To reduce the size of fat bulges on the body. This includes the love handles, abdomen (stomach), back fat, bra fat, muffin top, etc.

The Procedure

A skin protecting gel pad is applied to your skin and the coolsculpting device is then positioned over the desired treatment area. The device then vacuums the fat bulge being treated between two cooling plates and cools the fat bulge. This process induces cryolipolysis, which is the method by which the fat cells are naturally removed from the body.

Anesthesia

There is no anesthesia necessary for this procedure.

Length Of Time

The procedure takes one hour to complete per fat “bulge.” If the “love handles” are being treated this can takes 2-4 hours of treatment. Treating the lower abdomen takes only one hour using a special larger applicatior. During this time you may use your telephone, a laptop, read a book or watch a movie in our comfortable treatment room while the treatment is in progress. Each case is different and the treatment plan wil be discussed with you during your consultation.

After Procedure

You can go home immediately after the procedure is complete.

Recovery

You return to your normal activity immediately. There may be some mild discomfort immediately after the procedure. Pain medication is not necessary in the majority of cases. Some numbness over the treated area is to be expected. This generally resolves over the next 1-2 weeks, but can persist. We ask that you not to take any NSAID type medications for 2 months after the procedure (Advil, Ibuprofen, Alleve, Aspirin, etc.) as this could affect your results.
