ThermiTight South Florida
Thermi Tight uses Thermi RF (radio frequency) technology to tighten the skin and deeper tissues. Thermi RF is a new technology in the field of minimally invasive facial cosmetic procedures. Thermi RF is revolutionary as it is delivers radiofrequency energy directly to where it needs to go. A thin probe is placed beneath the skin through a small needle puncture. The probe is then directed into to the exact tissues that need to be tightened and administers the radiofrequency energy in this precise manner. Thermi RF for this reason is sometimes referred to as injectable RF (radiofrequency).
Since ThermiTight delivers the radio frequency energy exactly where it needs to go, it allows for the best possible treatment for minimally invasive neck lift and/or facelift available today. The deep tissues of the neck and the jowls are heated using a radiofrequency probe. Since the device is placed directly into the deep tissues, the area can be heated to the most effective temperatures necessary for tightening without causing any damage to the overlying skin. An internal thermostat assures that the desired temperature is achieved. In addition, an infrared thermal camera continuously monitors the external skin temperature to assure that the the deep tissues are properly being treated, and that the skin remains at a safe temperature. This results in the safest, most precise and effective heating of the deep tissues possible in order to give the maximum possible tightening of the deep tissues and skin without surgery.
ThermiTight can be used in all areas of the body. It is commonly performed on the neck and the jowels. ThermiTight is a procedure that uses the Thermi RF technology in order to tighten the neck and the jowls without surgery. The procedure is comfortably done under local anesthesia. Since this is minimally invasive, there is no significant downtime. Since the ThermiTight procedure allows for maximum heating of the target tissues, it provides some of the best noninvasive skin tightening available today.
Goal
To improve the appearance of the skin and deeper tissues of the neck and jowels without surgery and minimal downtime.
The Procedure
A thin probe is gently threaded beneath the skin in the targeted regions of the neck and jowels. The probe is then passed into the targeted tissue, heating the tissue to the predetermined temperature setting. An internal and external temperature monitor ensures optimal and safe heating of the tissues.
Anesthesia
Local anesthetic is used to numb the area. Some patients take a valium or similar relaxant prior to the procedure for comfort.
Length Of Time
The procedure takes approximately one hour to complete from start to finish.
After Procedure
You can go home comfortably after the procedure. A dressing will be placed around your neck after the procedure and removed one to two days afterwards. Many patients drive themselves to and from the office. If you take a valium or other relaxant you must have someone else drive you.
Recovery
There is minimal downtime with the thermitight procedure. Bruising is possible but not common after the procedure. Some swelling will occur. Most patients can return to work with a few days of the procedure. Some results may be seen immediately with improvement over the next few months..
